Dongsishitiao Imperial Granary Art Gallery


Dongsishitiao Imperial Granary Art Gallery in the Dongsishitiao area of Beijing is a converted imperial warehouse that now houses an art gallery.

During the Ming (1368–1644) and Qing Dynasties (1644-1912) there were over 100 of these storehouses of which only a handful now remain, all of which have been put to other uses including a theater, restaurants and cafes.

The gallery is just across Beijing's 2nd Ring Road from the Swissotel on the left as you walk west from Dongsishitiao subway station.
